A bit of this & that from our SUMMER...

I can't really believe how fast this summer is flying right by...the weather has been positively gorgeous. HOT HOT HOT! I love that and also especially LOVE waking up to sunny skies EVERYDAY!!! I think because I'm from western Washington where there are definitely more grey/rainy skies than sunny, it's something I always appreciate and never grow tired of!!! :)

Each day seems to be filled with many fun and exciting things so just thought I'd share a few with you...

Made another trip to Bowl & Pitcher State Park when our friend Joyce was visiting from Idaho. It is truly one of the most breathtaking places in Spokane!!!

Wouldn't be summer without a trip {or 2 or 3...} to Dean's Drive In located in Reardan for a yummy burger and a huckleberry milkshake!!!

Love to go see Grammy Pat & Grandpa Al's flowers...

Meeting  friends {Dave & Deb} for breakfast at Chaps is another favorite part of this summer...

Got to go to {Leroy} Fowlers Farmers Market ~ heehee!!!

 

The carrots & raspberries were so YUMMY!!!

I picked 2 buckets of GREEN BEANS!!! YEA!!!

We were leaving to go out of town the next day so I couldn't can them however I did freeze this picking! 

We took a ROAD TRIP to Utah to see Jim's family and had a great weekend!

 We really enjoyed our time at the Salt Lake City Farmers Market!!!

I was sOoOoOo excited when I heard this beautiful girl was visiting from Maine...

Kayla ~ she has grown up so much! Again there's that time going so fast thing! Her mom and I are very close friends and we met 12 years when we moved here. They lived on base too and we attended the same church. We had so much fun catching up on every SINGLE little thing!!!

 We managed to squeeze in trip to Coldstone Creamery so Lauren & Nat could see Kayla too!

FRIENDS for LIFE!!!

This summer has been extra busy and full as we are have been able to help care for Saylah.

We thoroughly enjoy and are so blessed by this little munchkin...
